14th Mediterranean Chess Championships
The Montenegro Open & Mediterranean Open & Women Championships 2026 is set to take place in the beautiful coastal city of Budva from 4th July to 11th July 2026. Organized by the Montenegro Chess Federation under the patronage of the Mediterranean Chess Association, this event promises top-level competition along with a vibrant international atmosphere.

💰 Prize Fund
The total prize pool for the event is an impressive €39,000, distributed across various categories:

- Open B: €8,000

🏆 Winners in both Open and Women categories will also receive medals and titles of Mediterranean Champions 2026.

🏨 Accommodation
Official accommodation is arranged at Hotel Slovenska Plaza (4★) with half-board options:
- Single Room: €127/day
- Double Room: €88/day
- Triple Room: €80/day
Players opting out of official accommodation will be charged an additional fee.
